In his deep-dives on histories of Egypt, Canaan, Babylonia, the Greeks, and Romans, #IsaacAsimov consistently refers to anything East of Asia Minor as “Asian.”
I think people forget what the “East” is referring to…
@paninid@DavidBruchmann the "middle east" can be correctly referred to as Southwest Asia, yes. The region covers Afghanistan to Turkey and all of the Arabian peninsula. And I agree the maxim applies. Just. Do. Not.
