Since #TGA didn't go there, bad news first:

• 8,000 people laid off, with more on the way

• Risk-averse investors taking money away from games

• Slow growth compared to 2022 -- the beginning of this very painful market correction

• Web3, virtual reality and the metaverse failed to deliver (again)
