Met Police Commissioner says the marches cannot be banned. Also, the 12th is Remembrance Sunday when all the Armistice stuff will happen, there's no such thing as "Armistice Weekend" like Damian Hinds was trying to make out on Channel 4 last night. None of these peace marches are scheduled for Sunday, as you can clearly see. No-one is going anywhere near the Cenotaph.
@Stoat Ironic it's the extreme right who are making most of the objections, you know the kind of people the war was fought against. Just more British culture that has been hijacked by extremists.
@Stoat
What a load of cliche claptrap. And ministerial claptrap at that. There should be a remembrance day for the original thoughts which died of loneliness in the brains of such people.
