#Braves’ Ozzie Albies will go on the 10-day IL with a hamstring strain, Snitker said after tonight’s game. They’ll bring up another infielder. I would guess Vaughn Grissom, but nothing announced yet. Nicky Lopez, who impressed again tonight, also likely to get more starts there.
The #Braves today recalled INF Vaughn Grissom to Atlanta and placed INF Ozzie Albies on the 10-day injured list, backdated to August 14, with a strained left hamstring.
Unfortunately I think we saw this coming with him taking the rest of the game off on Sunday and sitting today. Hopefully it is nothing major and he will be back in Sept to get prepared for the playoffs.
