I generally like @MonaApp, but the alt text input is in obvious need of a redesign (on iOS). It hides the image, the window is unnecessarily small. Also text recognition from images would be super helpful, this was something Metatext did well. #MonaApp#A11y
@jhilden@MonaApp Also that it doesn’t display alt text automatically while viewing is a bummer. (And compared, it uses a lot more mobile data than Metatext. Maybe not a problem at home but I noticed while roaming around)
@kupfers@MonaApp For me Metatext was failing to load a lot of images in the timeline recently, so thinking that may have something to do with the data?
@jhilden@MonaApp I have switched off initial display of images but then usually always click to display. And I have used it for many months, I don’t think that’s it.
