Looks nice, I've seen it here in a Gamestop store some days ago. But white, I don't know, if I look at my black controllers and how often I clean them 🤢
I don't even know if Starfield will be a game for me. I like those special editions, but esp white seems to me like more to exhibit in a showcase 😉
For 80 bucks I don’t know if I would even use it. Might just put it on display. I feel like I would break it with drift issues then it would be useless. I will be enjoying summer gaming before it comes out😀
@Player1MGA How long does a controler last? I'm keyboard and mouse only and the only controler I got some time back started breaking in half a year. Always felt that keyboards last longer.
An excellent question! I have had quite a few controllers and they have all varied in length of existence. I have had some die in a few months and I have had some that last a year or two. In my opinion it’s luck, the games you play, the location where you keep it and the quality of the controller. Every gamer will probably have their own opinions. Haha. 😁 Nothing wrong with that! There are lots of games that I’m the same way! First person shooter games for sure and I can’t play Minecraft with a controller
@Player1MGA Same. It's sad tho, sometimes controler would be good to have but it's pricey and does'nt last that long. I still have a keyboard from more than decade ago and it still works fine! So that's what I'm used to and that's why I find it hard to justify buing a controler. Tho this limited edition controler does look good.

@Player1MGA It's kinda neat but I never buy controllers designed after games I don't/won't enjoy like the Halo Infinite or the Cyberpunk 2078 ones. Bethesda is one developer I avoid entirely too and have no confidence in Starfield being what it's promised to be, like Star Citizen, so that controller is a no go for me
Didn’t get those either. $80 bucks for a standard controller is tough to bite too. I’ll play Starfield no dought but not sure if it’s my kinda game. We shall see in a few months!
I usually don’t by game branded hardware either. I did get the Xbox 20year anniversary controller. Doesn’t really count though. My recent Nintendo Switch purchase was the OLED Zelda edition. I don’t regret it. It is a beautiful console! If I can remember all my purchases through the years, it might be one of the only ones. Oh I did buy a Halo mouse and keyboard.
@Player1MGA Oh yeah if I'm in the market for new hardware and there are options out there for branded hardware, I'll certainly consider them.
Consoles and the like, there's really no difference between the hardware, branded or not.
With stuff like peripherals, I would say away from branded simply because frequently you can get better quality with better features from non-branded. Official controllers are the exception there.
For sure! Every time I see a post about any special edition it’s like “I do not need to buy it!” “Wait am I going to regret missing out!” 😂
For console I love seeing the special editions ones. Plus if I were to ever trade it towards a new system I’ll definitely get a better deal. The components in them are the same just a special wrapper 😎
