@Funktious my friend lived up on Mull for many years. She got married on the beach on May 1st with no backup plan ‘because it’s always nice the first two weeks in May’ - and it was. We’ve had some cracking holidays up on the islands at this time of year. So glad you got to experience it! (Assuming you are on holiday and not a local - I should have checked your bio!)
@hobbitswife Local-ish; we've lived in Glasgow for 6 years now and this is our 3rd trip to Islay. We've also done Mull once and will probably go back next year! Totally agree that May is the nicest month in Scotland, it's absolutely the time to go on holiday!
Didn't go the Ardnahoe launch - we did Ardbeg earlier in the week and going to Caol Ila tomorrow!
@Funktious Hubbie is really into his Islay whiskey - I’m a heathen and I like the Botanist gin at Bruichladdich - very jealous of you being there now - have a great time!!
