This weekend is going to be nuts!
Not only did I get The RayStorm and RayCrisis collection as well as World of Horror this week, but also 10 new retro gaming magazines, the actually new issue of Retro Gamer came in today and I got 2 new books.
And to top things off, Play-Asia came through with not one, but two orders at once! :pika_omg:
But I've been looking forward to playing Raystorm all week and would love to try out those Dreamer shoot em ups as I've heard brilliant things from both.
And I'd love to start World of Horror as well.
But I'll probably be way too tired by the time it gets to 7-8PM since I've been up since before 4AM, so yeah...
I definitely will start scanning one of those magazines in an hour or two though. Not sure which to pick first. 😊
@OutofPrintArchive saying that, I just remembered that I have 01-50 official PDFs from one of those eMag DVDs that were briefly fashionable. I don’t think they did anymore for this magazine.

I must have that one somewhere, although I have to look for it.
But I can't really use those kinds of discs as the scan quality tends to be, well, not the best at times.
Which is why I only use my personal scans 99% of the time since I can control the output quality.
I had a digital subscription to GamesTM for a couple of years, but you lose all of those when the app is no longer supported.
Had the same thing happen with NGamer. 🥴
@OutofPrintArchive the scan quality is AMAZING and it won’t be a disk, it’ll be 50 PDFs in a zip file :) If you wanted them for personal use I’ll share.
Thinking about it, I might have lost my set when that big hard drive crashed with all the downloaded magazines on them.
It was a collection I had gathered over nearly 2 decades and was dumb enough not to have made a backup in time. :cat_ick:
@Sobtanian Mastodon somehow compresses images to hell and back so it's not easy to see, but the background looks way to uniform to be a scan, so these do look like masters instead.
No rush though, I've got a couple of things to keep me busy in the meanwhile. 😉
One positive about losing a couple of drives, is that it made me paranoid about losing more.
And thus makes me think about backing up incredible content like all those Iwata Asks.

I'd love to scan those, but I would have to check when the last issue was published as I don't want to do magazines which are too recent as that was one of the agreements that I made with several publishers when I started my own site.
I'd love to get a full set of GamesMaster as well one day...
Heck, most classic UK gaming magazines really...
