Just launched my #MutualAid#fundraiser to get help to fund #dentures that I need to get asap (appt being booked upon raising enough to put down 50% deposit).
My insurance covers all extractions needed except for 2 & I have enough saved to cover that. I need #FinancialHelp to pay for the full set of dentures needed after - to eat & not be toothless.

I don't have supplementals on my medical insurance to cover dentures. I only have enough to cover full extractions from dentist. I'm unable to work FT due to other medical related issues.
@msquebanh I’ve boosted for you and will do what I can. Also do feel free to ask me any questions about the procedure and living with dentures, as I had my teeth removed and replaced last November for health reasons.
@t_l_wood Thank you very much. I'm really nervous about getting dentures - even though it's best for my overall health management - especially with osteoporosis issues. I'll definitely reach out, closer to booking appointment. Right now, am just stressed over finances because I still need to pay household bills & take care of my Mom & help out 2 Aunts still in hospital. Grateful that almost all extraction fees are covered though. Really wish I had supplemental for dentures too.

Other than needing dentures for medical reasons - I've been very self conscious about smiling with teeth showing, for over 8 yrs - after an accidental slip that chipped 2 teeth, including a front one & knocked one closer to molars, right out. I had front tooth fixed but it never looked same after. I would be able to eat & also not be scared to smile with mouth open, after getting full dentures.

My wife has similar issues, but is so stubborn about getting an appointment scheduled with a dentist that I am convinced she's insane (I mean moreso than when she married me lol!). But really, she has a beautiful smile regardless, and I bet you do to :)
@Warnstaff I hope she gets over her stubbornness about dentist because she'll probably be happier, after. My smile was better before my slipping in the rain accident. Knocked my face out on wood deck.

Ouch! That makes my face hurt in sympathy!
But I gotta get to bed. My night meds are kicking and it's almost 11pm (should be midnight, but time change....). So you have a good night and hopefully some more donations in the morning!
