Oh the YouTube app on Apple TV now overrides the Apple TV screensaver to do a Ken-Burns-effect slideshow on their own photos when the app is open, or if you pause during it a video it infinitely loops on a zoom, fade to black, zoom, on the YouTube THUMBNAIL for that video.

I guess I should be glad I’m on Premium because this is probably a future space for ads, but I’d be really glad if the app just didn’t fucking do this.

@joesteel I’m literally testing it out this afternoon (fell asleep to YouTube…) and my TV has been staying awake for ~2 hours, using power for no reason ♻️🌍💸

It seems the screensaver stays on for 1–2 hours and then it lets the Apple TV screensaver take on, and then the Apple TV sleeps after ~30 min

Does anyone know why when you’re using walking or transit directions in Apple Maps your iPhone takes an extended amount of time to unlock?

@joesteel i wish it could be disabled or be a live activity
it takes away the camera button on the lock screen which is useful when traveling (car, bike → landscapes, transit → photos of my dog on the MUNI)

Je me demande si je vais pas revenir sur Safari sur mon Mac, Firefox a un soucis horrible c'est que le menu emoji plante super souvent. Genre il apparait et disparait instantanément, et parfois ça bloque tout le navigateur (je peux plus rien écrire, cliquer, même rafraichir la page), je dois le relancer. Je comprends pas pourquoi mais ça me gonfle 100%.
