Just a heads-up that around the end of the month I'll be withdrawing the payments for issue 2 from our itch.io page to pay the contributors, so if you've read the zine and enjoyed it, or you're planning to read it and you'd like to support the people whose art and writing you're gonna love when you do, now would be a fabulous time to go to issue 2's page and pop a dollar or two in the pot. I appreciate it. you know how it is, these old machines, they still move but the bones gnash, the synapses fire haltingly. the pieces never fit exactly as they went in. the soft becomes hard, the hard brittle, the delicate gone-- ground to dust, lost to memory, a leaking sieve

In the back of the room, in its darkest corner, someone dressed head to toe in black--only visible by the fluorescence of the glow in the dark bones painted tidily on their face, chest, arms and legs.
