DungeonSmash recently released on the Switch and is on sale. It's a fun arcade game in the style of Breakout. Has nice pixel visuals and great level design, with an emphasis on power-ups, chain reactions, and chaos. Most stages end with countless balls bouncing around destroying everything.

Frogmonster is out and on sale. A weird, tough FPS metroidvania where you play as a frog who can wield guns and magic. Be sure to eat all the bugs (...and smaller frogs), not only do they give you an instant benefit like restoring health or mana, but also every new thing you eat becomes an equipable item that can grant various bonuses (including boosting the effects of things you eat). Interesting voxel visuals and intense combat.

It's a stand-alone mini-sequel to Froggo Swing 'n Grapple; shorter and simpler (there's no aiming and swinging and stuff, just shoot tongue directly forward), but still very fun.

Some peculiarities that take getting used to (some with make sense, some don't), and it's a bit janky and obtuse at times, but still very fun and engaging. Oh and you play as a bunny with a chainsaw.

Stray Shot is out and on sale. A clever twin-stick shooter where all your misses turn into enemies (in fact, there are no enemies unless you shoot). Creates dynamic difficulty and a risk/reward system, do you shoot recklessly and fight a swarm for tons of points or are you cautious. Doesn't do much beyond it's premise, no special moves or power-ups or upgrades, just shoot and aim for a high score.

Snufkin returns from a trip to discover that Moominvalley has been "developed" into private parks by some busybody; wreck it all and restore the valley's natural beauty. You'll find a lot to do: find "inspiration" to make new tunes to charm animals, destroy the parks by yanking all the signs while avoiding police, and help folks with various problems.

Panoptia is out. It's peculiar adventure game about a huge, mysterious building (the titular Panoptia) that suddenly appeared in a small town the protagonist recently moved into. She feels drawn to the building, to investigate it's secrets. Sometimes frustrating (lack of direction, sudden difficulty spikes), but really interesting, with distinctive style.
