I get unreasonably angry at corporate apps that were very clearly designed by a committee so large no one ever tried using the thing for even basic operations.

I'm trying to make an appointment with a specific person. I click the button for "appointment with this specific person." I get a form asking what specialty I need, so it can give me a list of possible people.

NO! I KNOW WHO I WANT TO SEE! WHY IS SOFTWARE THIS BAD ALLOWED TO EXIST???

@Crell I tried to open a chat support with a SaaS vendor yesterday. It was forcing me to pick the feature I wanted support for. Had no option for billing support, which overarches every product and feature. Ugh.

Question for above ground pool owners:

What do you do with these blue covers/blanket while using the pool? It helps heat the water and keep leaves out, but it’s a pain to handle.

I missed it by a day, but Happy 20th Anniversary to the WordPress open source project.

The project and the community around it have had a huge impact on my career, and through it I have made many (hopefully lifelong friends). For that I will forever be grateful.
