For me, the answer to all of the hand-wringing about the iPad's hardware excellence and software’s simplicity is to learn to settle for the entry level iPad.

It's a great tablet! It's relatively cheap! You don't feel the need to spend a ton of cash on accessories you likely won't need, and you won't try to twist iPadOS into a pretzel to do your bidding.

This is Apple's fault for making a pro line of tablets to begin with, but you don't have to go along with it.
