Most photos for #nightOfCone have been at night because that's when the city is full of empty self-driving cars, but you can find them during the day as well.

Whether day or night, wear a mask, make sure there are no humans in the vehicle, and don't block intersections or transit (they do that enough on their own).

@SafeStreetRebel saw a couple of these two weeks ago in SF. wateched one maneuver a very tricky corner at Washington Square turning left with lots of pedestrians and some walking pets. very silly. No thanks- yes to the orange cone.

I’m trying to decide if it’s a good idea to do an 80 mile out and back of the Rogue River Trail over my 5-day Fourth of July weekend.

Pros: Exciting opportunity to see rare wildlife like black bear. This is the only place i’ve ever seen bear in the wild. No snow. The challenge of needing to do at least a few 20 mile days to complete.

Cons: Weather looks to be in the 90s and the trail is exposed. Unclear where exactly I can park overnight. 4 hour drive each way. Lots of Poison Oak.

But traveler beware- as a multi-year "Wash ashore" year-round resident of the in mid-summer, July those dwellers are killers and love anyone wearing dark clothing. They will rip your skin and suck your blood ray. Enjoy the beauty of the saltmarsh wading in If you see those wooden boxes on legs n the marsh- it is greenhead season
