@radiant Hey. I subscribed to premium, mostly for the notifications feature. They aren’t working at all unfortunately. Haven’t received a single notification, while I have via @ivory so I believe this to be a big of the app / your APNS implementation & not mastodon or the instance I’m a part of. Known issue? Like the app, but notifications are essential.

@samleegray Hey Sam, sorry to hear this. Could you please send your logs from in the app to support@radiant.social, and then I can look into it further! There have been previous issues with notifications but none known currently.

Appreciate the support and your patience. Also if you haven’t already, please try toggling notifications off or to device only not remote and waiting thirty seconds or so then toggling them back on and seeing if that makes a difference!

Been a crazy few days since release, and a huge thanks to everyone who has tried the app out and given feedback!

Version 1.0.2 was just submitted for App Store review, so hopefully some of your most common requests or bugs will be improved in the next few days.

There is also a brand new feedback portal so you can submit ideas, bugs and feature suggestions! Not every planned or in progress feature is there, I want to keep some surprises up my sleeves!

    @kylewritescode @cliffwade Hello! Are you getting a 422 or 404 error when trying to react with a regular emoji?

    Custom emoji works fine I believe, regular has some issues at the moment

    @kylewritescode @cliffwade great, thanks for confirming. There's a fix that's just gone into the latest TestFlight version, build 17!

    There is still a little way to go with first class support for announcements, for example you can't select a reaction unless others already have and that could be improved.

    I'm always happy to hear suggestions too so feel free to let me know what you think!

    Up to you, but email is a little easier to manage and get logs etc if needed at the moment

    Okay so the first few minutes of using the @radiant app, I have found some issues.

    1. It appears I’m missing some notifications and they are not updating, although being on the remote setting
    2. Timeline doesn’t auto refresh (or refresh when tapping the icons)
    3. Replies, boosts, fav icons not showing correct numbers.

    Some things I’m liking about it.

    1. The onboarding process is AMAZING and honestly apps should take note.
    2. The ability to type out and entire thread before posting.

    1. Notifications currently don't update immediately when you're in the app, I'm working on it. You should get notifications correctly when the app isn't in the foreground though!
    2. Which icons are you tapping? At the moment the timeline only refreshes on pull down.
    3. What do you mean correct numbers? 🤔

    Thank you! Onboarding and thread composing are a big focus for me. Onboarding in particular is tricky, but I'm glad you like it! 😊

    Hello world! The first public beta of Radiant for iOS is now available.

    Radiant is a new Mastodon client app that aims to be fast and powerful.

    There's still a lot to do before release, but if you like testing new software that may have some rough edges and missing pieces still you've come to the right place!

    Will look into these suggestions, thanks! With the replies and home timeline in one view, do you mean seeing the parent comment that is being replied to? I'm not quite following.
