Just finished 3D printing, soldering, and assembling my new mouse. It was very hard to track down an eight ball that’s 1.75” instead of regulation 2.25” so I found a person on Etsy and had to buy a full set of 16 just to get this. But I think it’s perfect.

Just reprinting the bottom as it needed a slight adjustment but this mouse is shockingly one of the best I’ve ever used for ball mice. I just need to program the keys and the bearings should break in after a few days. #opensource #3dprinting

Anyone know how to refurbish and upgrade an IBM Model M from 1998 with the rubber mouse nipple to have USB. I feel like this needs some TLC and it still works but nothing I have uses PS/2 anymore unfortunately and I would love to use this in the homelab when tinkering with SBC’s and my servers

The fact Anonymous isn’t on #Mastodon but is active on #Bluesky really is disappointing and makes me wonder are they the tech savants people claim or just overhyped. Their most recent Mastodon post was about creating an XMPP group when Matrix exists and is the go to was shocking to me personally.

Why of all places be on Bluesky and continue to remain there when they only JUST got 1 million downloads.

I don’t understand why Chase bank has appointments required to make account changes. This is a joke it takes 5 minutes. I walked into my credit Union and did it in 5 minutes. I’m convincing another family member to go credit Union because Chase is shit for customers. Credit unions actually care about their community too. They’re non profits as well better benefits

Credit Unions > Banks

I shut down my chase years ago because of shit customer service.

I’m an IT guy who got bored during the pandemic and somehow got popular on Tiktok talking about 3D printing, networking, #cryptocurrency ,#linux ,and #IT. I started a Twitch recently focused on #gamingonlinux and eventually console #gaming and Linux SBC and networking projects. I love #dogs and will mostly talk about tech, rarely do I mention political but it’s mostly cyber and privacy rights. Hope to get the printer working again soon. Also I make #music as a hobby sometimes
