Ironically, the accident that caused them to decide Cruise is unsafe was started by a human driver hit-and-run. So the humans are still more unsafe, but they are punishing the robots for it
i started using the internet in the late 2000’s and still remember when you search for something most of the times it would return with a forum post … now its just random websites … if you ever need real and concise answer you have to add site:reddit.com at every search and since discord or twitter are not crawlable by...
Seriously though maintaining a PHP server is a security nightmare and you have to be constantly updating if you don’t want to be hacked. Just not worth it when there’s better options out there
He had a good platform too; a true leftist planning for the future of AI, UBI, etc. She just straight out refused to debate him. Then she ran a smear PR campaign on him just to be sure
You’re not supposed to remember your dreams. When you remember your dreams it’s when you were woken unexpectedly, or when you consciously or unconsciously fled the dream before returning it to the Dreammaster.
We only borrow our dreams from him every night, but when we leave a dream prematurely we are stealing that dream - bringing it into our reality and hiding it away in our memories.
However precious or horrid your stolen dreams may be, remember that the Dreammaster will claim them back from you. He always does, in the end.
Actually pretty much all companies do this in some form or another. Even Gmail and lots of other Google apps use web instead of native for some parts. They just do it well. When a company does it poorly it really shows.
I think now is a great time to remind everyone, like sync’s developer, Lemmy’s developers need to be paid too! The amount of time all the devs put into making lemmy exist, in my opinion, should be worth some of your money. I have no idea who Hexbear is, but it’s well documented how th IMF and World Bank work to endebt developing countries to the US’s corporate rule and then steal all their resources… Are we… Not allowed to talk about that here?
Same here. People keep raving about it but I find it so boring. No story, no adventure or exploration, just a step above a random number generator in terms of strategy or puzzle
looks like rendering adblockers extensions obsolete with manifest-v3 was not enough so now they try to implement DRM into the browser giving the ability to any website to refuse traffic to you if you don’t run a complaint browser ( cough…firefox )...
I got it bundled with my YouTube Music subscription. Definitely worth it, especially considering you’d pay the same amount for Spotify and not get any videos
Heck I would settle for just seeing a post from a person once I my feed, instead of seeing the last reply, then other posts, then the second-to-last reply, then after a lot more scrolling finally seeing the original post.
The problem with chronological feeds is that prolific posters in your timezone just take it over and you never see stuff from people in other timezones or infrequent posters.
Nah. I would hate to live in a country that bans personalized ads. It would be like living in the 90s watching cable TV seeing completely irrelevant tampon and baby ads as a single dude.
Personalized ads are much less annoying than the “spray-and-pray” noise we used to deal with.
