I was tired of @EeveeEuphoria 's neopossum set not having a tall boi like cat and fox. So, I made them. Unfortunately, they're pretty janky because I don't actually know what I'm doing.

I can now say @mynotaurus 's Yingmote creator is an awesome tool for making #neomoji. You just specify the color palette then run generate.py and bam, 285 custom emoji.

The only full set of them I've found in the wild are their Queer Butterflies which come in 17 varieties of PNG released under CC0.

Some instances have used individuals from the Pride Pigeon, Pride Alien, and Purple Macaroni Pengs sets. And those aren't even all the ones they have available.

One tip for instance admins who want to use them: don't use the emoji resolution, get the full size ones instead. The emoji resolution may sound fine at 128×128 but it can create problems when scaled again in reactions or MFM.

Can I ask why you removed the hexagon from the wagon design for riding them between versions 1 and 2 of blobbee?

Also, did you make the ones with a hexagon for neocat and neofox? You seem to have created the neocat and neofox train wagons without the hexagon since they're part of blobbee's 2.x repo.

Blobbee from the 2.2.1 branch riding in a train car that doesn't have a hexagon on the side.

Given how many @neomojimixer users are artists. I'm surprised that crossstitch, laptop, and stabbing knives are the only three visual artistic mediums represented in the arms.

✏️, 🖋️, 🖌️, 🖍️, stylus, and finger dripping with paint all seem relatively low effort. Something like this (pencil comes from Mutant Standard).

It's not at the top of my list because error handling for launch is obviously the priority but I really need to add SVG support to the neomoji backend at some point. It's absurd that @Erpel has to manually edit 50 files to add a new arm color every time a new body gets added.

The first company that goes "oops all muscle mommies" with their #gacha #waifu s is going to get embarrassingly rich.

I'm picturing a side to side beat 'em up game like Final Fight, Streets of Rage, or River City Girls but the plot is about trying to maintain order in a crumbling post apocalyptic city. The waifus are from different gangs vying for power. Go over the top weird with them ASAP. The cardinal rule of character design is that every one of these women can beat you up. The high school malcontent with a baseball bat, the telekinetic one with pigtails, the werewolf, the lady cop, the gyaru with a chainsaw, and the yoga mom. They can all kick your ass.

Since I can't code the #NeomojiMixer while at work, I can at least brainstorm about its architecture, right? Constructive feedback is welcome.

/create return a PNG based on parts named in POSTed JSON.

/list return a JSON of all parts available.

/list/{arms} return a JSON of all parts in the category {arms}.

/random return a PNG with randomly chosen elements for each part.

/part/deatil/{mouth_woozy} return a JSON with details about {mouth_woozy}.

/part/image/{mouth_woozy} return the PNG of the part {mouth_woozy}.

/create/identicon return a PNG of a neomoji based on the POSTed sha256 hash. Attempts are made to keep it kinda consistent despite new parts being added all the time.

/beta/animate return an APNG based on a POSTed JSON. Initially, it's two 0.2s frames infinitely looping, arms aren't allowed, body doesn't change, eyes and mouth are a list of parts.

/copyright return a JSON with text about who made it and a link to the CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 Deed

/contact return a JSON with a link to the mixer page, the git, and the Fediverse account for the mixer.
