In the archives of the Swedish church in London they mention this person who claimed to be an aristocrat. He was a resident in a hospital on their account.

But this noble house was not part of the Swedish order any more, and I wonder if he was an imposter.

Yes, they all have places they like more, or a special place they wish they could return to. It is a perfect opportunity to show the character when they are content, happy and calm. The reader, I think, need to see the characters when they are at their best too. Not only jump from one action scene to another, you need to stop and smell the roses too.

The good men in my vicinity.

I wanted to see, what is a good man? Why is he good? There's so much toxicity going around, I'm fed up with that. Where's the father, the brothers, the husbands that's not superheroes, billionaires, savant level talented or fashion models. Where are the normal guys, doing extraordinary things not because it works, but because it is kind. (Yes, that is a reference to my favourite TV-show indeed) 🙂

... and far too busy at the moment.

But that is my dream project. To write a science fiction story with him.

Creating something together is such an intimate thing that I don't want to share it with anyone else.

The finest compliment I every got was from a class of children, who drew pictures using the images they got from a chapter in my book. There were elves, gnomes and a large variety of animals, and I just adored seeing how the children imagined the world I had just described. That was so empowering, to see their creativity sparked by words of mine.

I did. I stopped writing half my life. Stuff happened and the words inside me disappeared.

Long story short: I met the love of my life, got shit sorted and my head back on straight, and I realised that I am a writing person. I didn't stop writing because I was miserable. I was miserable because I didn't write.

The love of my life. I wouldn't be able to do what I do without him. He's the shoulder I cry on when I fail and the one I throw my arms around when I succeed. He's the one I ask for help when I get stuck and the one who keeps me sane, when my characters try to drive me mad. There is none I admire or trust more.

My ability to place the reader in a world, time, and place that exists only in my head, and I make them believe it is somewhere they could visit.

In the early beginning of the book, a tapestry is being observed and studied. The class is studying old myths, and today's task is to interpret what the artist may have wanted to portray with a large flying monster spitting acid.

It turns out the artist wanted to portray a huge flying monster that spits acid.

    Jag brukar ha fel när jag förutspår saker om Ryssland. Exempelvis trodde jag i februari 2022 naivt nog att Putin inte skulle anfalla, eftersom jag inte såg det rationella i det. Men han brydde sig inte om mina funderingar.
    Nu försöker jag förutspå hur kriget i Ukraina slutar. Vi får se om jag har lika fel denna gång.

    @Loukas Att tro att Ryssland står ensamma är ett misstag. Kina och Indien är inte särskilt ovilliga att stötta Putin, de är bara diskretare i sitt stöd till Ryssland än västvärlden är till Ukraina. Utan främst Kinas stöd hade Rysslands ekonomi kollapsat för länge sedan. Det kan vi inte vänta på. Ukraina behöver mer hjälp helt enkelt. @kallekn @anderspuck
