But if she applauds (I can't see if she really does, or just stands) it's very feebly so.

Westerners congratulating themselves, celebrating the fact they sent soldiers to save a democratic country occupated by invaders 80 years ago, while his own democratic country is currently invaded and occupied and none of these western countries is ready to send troops to save 🇺🇦 from invasion and occupation????

And now that these planes are about to finally arrive, that should be postponed for organisational reasons?
Like, it would have been impossible to have either the Gripens or the F-16 arrive if only 3 months eralier so as not to arrive at the exact same moment a the other type of planes?

Generally, a foreign Head of State is greeted at the airport by the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The fact that the official Head of State does the greeting may be a political signal: perhaps Felipe is "fully" behind supporting Ukraine, while the Prime Minister is more focused on internal political problems and not-so-much focused on supporting Ukraine? (quite likely conseridering the current situation in 🇪🇸...)
