Did anyone collect Pokémon trading cards from the Skyridge set? It was the final Wizards of the Coast release for Pokémon, but I really love the artwork!
@cafou I've had a nice relaxing day, and met with a friend for lunch. Then on the way home I started to think about future content for the newsletter, and got motivated to work through some edits.
For several years now, I've been frustrated that my copy of Official Nintendo Magazine 20 - September 2007 (UK) has page 43 and 44 torn out.
That's why it hasn't been released yet.
I bought a second copy last year and to my horror it had the same problem.
Not it seems that this was done by the team itself as page 43 was a misprint and they tore it out of the magazine before shipping?!
@OutofPrintArchive This blows my mind. I never knew! Must have skipped over it entirely when I bought it originally. I would have totally scanned or sent you the magazine if it hadn't!
On Thursday, we are sharing a very cool feature that we've spent months researching and interviewing people for. I truly hope you'll give it a read when it releases!
If you haven't already, please consider subscribing so that you'll receive issue 29 and future issues direct to your email inbox!
I experimented with Game Boy Camera photography, taking pictures, and placing different colour filters over the lens (Red, Green and Blue) multiple times, then brought together on my computer to create a colour photograph. It worked rather well with this Pokéball!
For more examples, check out the latest issue of the Johto Times:
@Roundcat As nice as they would be, the Game Boy Camera can't print in colour, however maybe there's some cool mod that the people in the Game Boy Camera Club on Discord may know about that I don't! 😁
@broximar I won't be able to review the new Pokémon DLC this year because I stopped reviewing games as part of my previous hobbies last year. It's for the best though, I love what i'm doing with this newsletter.
Plus, on reflection, it's better to just buy the game and enjoy it without the pressure of deadlines and having to rush through something that should be enjoyed at your own pace.
