Australia’s federal parliament has voted against recognising Palestine as an independent state.

Here’s how the House of Representatives voted on the motion put forward by the Greens:

Yes: 5. The Australian Greens and Independent Andrew Wilkie.

No: 80. Representatives from the Labor government, as well as the Liberal and National parties.

Has anyone here taken a golf cart, made changes to it & turned it into a street legal electric vehicle?

In my dreams, last night, I was driving around roads, on an upcycled, electric golf cart with a trailer attached to back, with my cat in a backpack windowed carrier in passenger seat. We were heading to a cats cafe.

After a search I discovered tuk tuks in NZ were made illegal in 2017 after an accident investigation. It seems they’re legal in many states of the US but it’s unclear whether legal in Canada

It should be a democratic state of Palestine for all the indigenous Jews, Christians, Muslims and gentiles. Islam and Christianity didn't even exist 2,000 years ago so the ancestors of the holy land have the legitimate right to the land of their ancestors ahead of the European Ashkenazi Jewish settlers.

It's really quite irrelevant where one of your ancestors may have lived 2-3,000 years ago in 2024.
