Reminds me of driving my parent 1972 Delta 88 across the border from Illinois to Wisconsin—18 to drink in Wisconsin vs 19 & 21 in Illinois. So fun. No seat belts — why would you…:)
“From my childhood I have been,’ said I, ‘the object of the untiring goodness of the best of human beings; to whom I am so bound by every tie of attachment, gratitude, and love, that nothing I could do in the compass of a life could express the feelings of a single day.”
"About his large bright eyes that used to be so merry, there was a wanness and a restlessness that changed them altogether. I cannot use the expression that he looked old. There is a ruin of youth which is not like age; and into such a ruin, Richard’s youth and youthful beauty had all fallen away.”
“I passed on to the gate, and stooped down. I lifted the heavy head, put the long dank hair aside, and turned the face. And it was my mother, cold and dead.”

THE MAIDEN
Pass by, ah, pass by!
Away, cruel Death!
I am still young; leave me, dear one
and do not touch me.
DEATH
Give me your hand, you lovely, tender creature.
I am your friend, and come not to chastise.

you shall sleep softly in my arms.
Dicken refers to 'Death and the Maiden in chapter 56: “Impassive, as behoves its high breeding, the Dedlock town-house stares at the other houses in the street of dismal grandeur, and gives no outward sign of anything going wrong within. …

‘Hallowed be – thy –’
The light is come upon the dark benighted way. Dead!
Dead, your Majesty. Dead, my lords and gentlemen. Dead, Right Reverends and Wrong Reverends of every order. Dead, men and women, born with Heavenly compassion in your hearts. And dying thus around us, every day.”
@KatyTurNBC Hunter Biden was never president.
False equivalence.
Hunter Biden is not elected to any office. He had a gun for 11 days. He did not over throw an election. He did not commit election fraud.
Hunter Biden did not steal nuclear military secrets.
Move on.
How trust worthy are those Trump fund raising numbers post conviction? How are those numbers vetted? Are they reported by the campaign? Who vette those numbers? Where is that money coming from?
