7/ Final speaker of the evening was Pablo Blanco of TRE ALTAMIRA https://site.tre-altamira.com

Pablo shared the details of how SAR is used to measure even tiny changes in ground movement over time. This is useful for example in major construction projects like London's Crossrail. But also many other use cases.

8/ With the talks over it was time to vote for the SplashMaps best speaker.

We used a new method this time - we've had some feedback that the public nature of the vote is off putting to some potential speakers, so we now vote anonymously via the site FeatureUpvote (see screenshot). It seemed to work well.
