And then in turn 2, chaos erupts!
First green rolled a ridiculous four 6s, so they had pedal to the metal for the whole turn.
Then they called in an airstrike on the orange Eliminator (large vehicle) which hit and blasted them off the road completely, removing that vehicle from the game!
The end of turn two had the surviving cars speeding through the Unrest Stop. #boardgames #ThunderRoad

The Orange Eliminator was... eliminated!

In Turn 3 orange tried to call in their chopper to exact some revenge on green but they missed! But then the orange doom buggy (small vehicle) slammed into the white doom buggy, forcing it backwards into a hazard, which turned out to be a Mine that blasted it backwards another four spaces (fortunately into an empty space). But then after the white buggy driver shook his head and realised he was ok, he decided Valhalla was still calling his name and charged forward into the back of the green doom buggy and managed to slam that into a house, destroying it and removing it from the game!

More jostling ensued elsewhere and the green chopper shot up the white Eliminator and slightly Dazed the driver but they quickly recovered and caught up with the rest of the field. #boardgames #ThunderRoad

Turn 4: the white Eliminator moves up and slams the orange Doom buggy, which pushes it forward into the space with the orange chopper - in the confusion the chopper bombs their own vehicle and removes it from the game (because the buggy was in the chopper space at the end of the white player's turn). Two orange vehicles are down!

Then the green Avenger (medium vehicle) makes a break for the front an accelerates away from the back while directing the hopper to try to take out the remaining orange car! It hits and damages it but only manages to force it to skid sideways.

Orange attempts to shoots up the white Eliminator with its chopper but misses, and in response the white Doom Buggy accelerates to the space behind the orange Avenger and opens fire, inflicting a second point of damage and sending it through the air one space away, but the remaining orange vehicle is now Inoperable! This means that orange is eliminated since all (one) of its remaining cars are inoperable so the finish line goes up on the last tile!

The white Avenger makes a desperate attempt to slam the green Avenger into a rock outcrop or off the road but it backfires and the white car goes off the road instead! The green avenger steadies itself and coasts one space ahead, but there's one more hazard between the green car and victory! #boardgames #ThunderRoad

the white Doom Buggy shoots up the last orange vehicle and turns it into a smoking wreck, eliminating orange from the game and triggering the endgame!
the end of turn 4 and green has a chance for victory!
