TIL:
Warum wird der Cursor in vi mit h j k l bewegt?
Warum springt ^ in vi an den Anfang der Zeile?
Warum steht ^ in regulären Ausdrücken für den Zeilenanfang?
Warum steht ~ in Unix für das home-Verzeichnis?

Das alles ergibt sofort Sinn mit Blick auf das Keyboard-Layout des ADM-3A Terminals von 1976.

If you use an S3 provider that doesn't support object-level ACLs, like Cloudflare R2 or Backblaze B2, make sure to set S3_PERMISSION to empty in your Mastodon server config (.env.production file)

A VC firm owns 3 of the top 5 largest Mastodon servers

  1. An evil corporation (Twitter) helped develop Bluesky.

An evil corporation (Google) helped develop the Fediverse

Berlin’s dumped vehicles

This is right outside the Subway at the Stadler bike store in Friedrichshain. No plates. Clearly not moved in months, maybe years. And there it sits, rotting. Parked on 5 sq m of public ground for free
