watched some heartstopper with my mom and her partner and it makes me so happy. definitely super y/a and not usually my thing, but it’s nice to see so many queer relationships in one place ! very white and able bodied and rich, but still super cool. v feel good :]

my girlfriend gave me this soap that’s shaped like a fox like half a year ago and i’ve managed to keep it alive by keeping the lights off and the doors closed to my bathroom anytime i’m not in there and also not using it

Just great. Now Duck Duck Go is putting ads on the top of search pages. Any other search engine out there that doesn't do this? They are identified as ads and my ad blockers block them, but still.

@Bette do you value the privacy aspect of duck duck go or just want an alternative? if you like privacy, brave is pretty solid ! the only annoying thing is that on PC, it’ll kind of like… blend the ads into the background of the browser? like whatever art or photo you put as your browser background will be replaced by some sort of ad every once in a while.. but it doesn’t bother me as much as a pop up ad, personally, and it’s very secure

learning java is genuinely so joyful. like it’s actually something i like forward to and it calms me down ! idk. it’s been a while since i’ve enjoyed learning & doing something like this

i love other things i do, of course, like writing & making zines & playing piano ! but they all feel like work to some extent, and coding feels very free n playful n explorative, n it’s a nice break
