@ojala the issue here is Baxendale. Have a look at what she did to #Birmingham #Council before she came to #Christchurch. Staff cuts, strikes, loss of services and ultimately a council on the verge of Bankruptcy. I said this would happen when it was announced years ago.

Mauger said the council’s debt had risen to about $2 billion. “We are in shit creek financially, in my view - deep shtuck.”
