Je compte changer mes écrans. Pour un usage boulot / développement.

J'ai actuellement 3 x 24" 1920x1080 (deux sur les trois montrent de gros signes de fatigue)

J'hésite entre deux options

  • un 32" 4k 3840 x 2160 (je pense garder à côté le 24" qui marche encore bien)
  • un 40" ultrawide 5120 x 2160

Sur le papier le 40" me fait bien envie, ça sera plus propre sur le bureau mais j'ai peur d'être un peu restreint par l'aspect écran unique.

Un avis ?

@kgaut ça dépend notamment si t'es à cheval sur la colorimétrie pour avoir exactement les mêmes couleurs de part et d'autre

Est-ce que j'y reste vu que c'est Microsoft ? (cela dit, j'y ai très peu d'activité.)

Si j'y reste il me faut activer l'authentification 2FA, donc leur donner mon numéro de mobile. Actuellement je ne peux plus m'y connecter sans ça.

Si je n'y reste pas, je passe à quoi ? Gitea ? Gitlab ? Autre ?

Comment faites-vous de votre côté ?

@emmanuelc y a codeberg que je vois passer de temps à autre en alternative. Pour GitHub il faut vraiment donner le 06, pas moyen d'avoir exclusivement une clé de sécurité ?

@emmanuelc je parlais d'une clé physique (type https://www.yubico.com/products/security-key/), d'après https://docs.github.com/en/authentication/securing-your-account-with-two-factor-authentication-2fa/configuring-two-factor-authentication une appli TOTP (type Authy/<Truc>Authenticator) peut être utilisée pour la 2FA (plutôt que le 06/SMS) avant de pouvoir rajouter la clé

Fellow users, any idea why a request would have dns_start: -1 and dns_end: -1?

Could it be because there’s a preconnect (in HTTP headers) for this subdomain, so the connection happens before the timing measures start?

Je ne comprends pas la stratégie de @mozilla .

Ils ont un très bon navigateur mobile et desktop, ouvert aux extensions au moment même où Chrome se referme et… rien à part de la dispersion.

On passe sous les 2%. C'est un décès lent qui s'annonce s'il n'y a pas d'électrochoc.
