Except assholes like trump see themselves as victims of a witch-hunt and he would write that out , sorry: he will have a lawyer write that out for every one of them. I doubt he has the attention span for it.
Happens with podcasts too. Used to be an avid follower of MFM. Then it stopped being about murders and about mental health, survivors and having nice feefees all the time. Not that I’m against that. I have podcasts I listen to that dedicated to that stuff that built their content to a topic and stick to it.
But when you shift the major focus of your content especially when your title is leading a subject it’s super distracting and annoying and shakes some trust that a person gives an actual shit about their listeners and isn’t just waking off into randomness with an audience. Like just call it ‘the view’ then.
Or maybe people have varying degrees of how they take interest in something and semantics are just semantics according to interest.
For example: I have three relatives who are obsessed with the things they are interested in. One is into hoses…like really into hoses. and they have a computer and a car they use but they don’t like these two things nearly as much as they like their hoses. The other, while they use hoses and computers are really into cars. And a third who is super into computers while they have a hose and a car, they just don’t find the same interest in these other two things as they do with their computer.
None of them like each other.
Guess why.
Cuz like Fine. Go be a ‘fanboy’ about your one thing but people aren’t just dumb because they aren’t as obsessed as you are about your one thing. And they aren’t the problem here when you feel you’ve expressed your obsession language to their ordinary language about it. Cuz They get it. You like the thing. They just aren’t wanting to go deep like you do about it. But it gets annoying and old real fast if you’re so obsessed you’re pushing it on them. Their time and energy is worthwhile too.
Yep after first releases and concerts, the only people benefitting from the music are the distributors who deserve nothing for the effort the artist put in.
They are not the talent providing the work. They are skimming off talent. They are riding on someone else’s talent. They are the very definition of parasites. They would have no job if there were no talent. Meanwhile the talent can find other ways to sell their work.
I see it a more like someone feeling like they ‘did something’ by running an ad even if it isnt even useable.
Sort of like reporting something to Reddit admin about someone telling others to go KYS and their idea is to send out suicide links to the reporter and dust off their hands.
Just assholes dropping links and not reading let alone caring about actual problems
That’s called the Texas sharpshooter fallacy. focussing on proof that you’re right at using a false equivalent. In this case appearance = personality.
You’re counting the ones you’ve so called ‘gotten right’ because people who are negative are drawn to the negative and count only the negatives to support their theories. The ones you claim to have gotten right seem wrong btw. An assassin isn’t the same as an alcoholic. One is an intentional line of work. The other is a disease. That is inception level of more than one false equivalence there.
And here you are attempting to read minds yourself. You literally listed assassin for an alcoholic and made that line all on your own. So yeah, it is fallacy. That is Exactly false attribute fallacy.
Yup that’s how you never ever get future work as all potential victims are gonna be too scared now to come forth for any kind of reveal. They didn’t deserve an award for just manipulating and then outing vulnerable people.
Thanks. I’m finding memes as they become more topical and just showing a picture with angry words with absolutely no lead in the titles is more confusing than informative(some things just don’t work tucked into memes). You the REAL MVP.
I didn’t downvote because I agree with the story of who this person is and she’s a good one after someone had to explain it. But i downvoted that this political meme was a disaster at getting the correct information and emotion across. The title was lacking (yet your anger wording on the meme itself was not) and this was needlessly confusing for what a meme should represent.
Clearly the world hasnt met a sour canucks fan whom will beat an old man just for standing in the wrong spot on the train. Canadians have a “0-100 and nothing between” policy about anger.
It’s Canada. Not Australia. Attacking back on behalf of victims takes some emotional thinking in the moment which Canadians don’t have. They just talk about the shit after it happened and what ‘should have happened’. Australians meanwhile: passengers will think in the moment enough to gleefully toss a violent drunk off the bus to protect everyone else on the bus including the driver.
The non misogynistic ones. Good luck finding those. welcome to Reddit circa 2005 before hating women was considered not ok as it didn’t affect anyone’s bottom dollar. Freeze peaches and all that shit that goes with it.
If a person rapes you you don’t blame their genitalia. You blame the person.
and that’s my point. Blaming a machine is sidestepping the criminal who’s manipulating the machine to rip off people. You’re guilty of your own rule for derailing from the real culprit and ignoring the human thief. They rely on that.stop enabling it.
