I didn't really know any Talking Heads songs beyond some of the hits for a very long time, but maybe 10 years ago or so I started getting into them. I even had a phase that lasted about 3 weeks where I listened to the first three albums multiple times a day every day.

I now use this song from about 1.08 in as my phone ringtone (not that my phone rings if I can help it.)

Finally autumn here in Houston.

We've gotten down to 35°F, almost freezing, once but only in the night. Warms back up quickly to 67°F by the afternoon. It's basically California weather until the next front blows in.

    Sadly, my maga relative has pushed it at previous get-togethers, like memorials during the height of COVID. Now, we haven't heard from him in months and we have heard he has a big wine tab.

    Most of my family unfriended another relative on social media because we couldn't stand the retweets of the memes. Now, she has early onset dementia and cannot use a computer at all

    I just know what the GenXers learned in Virginia, Texas, and Alabama because I'm an army 'brat'. Heavy on the pilgrims and Native Americans ate a meal together and were buddies.

    Only my oldest child, similarly, played dress-up as pilgrims because her teacher was almost retirement age (2001)

    Now my four young adult GenZers all have Friendsgivings before our family Thanksgiving which may be even better evolution of the original idea
