Never mind the travails of Bojo, my 18 year old at Uni, voting for the first time, by giving his mum proxy authority to vote for him in his home City, encountered a demand for ID, the burden of proving which fell on mum. He had applied online for his proxy. We have yet to learn whether the facility was there to upload ID at the same time, but we suspect not.
This system has been designed to disenfranchise and discourage young voters, and it REEKS of corruption, incompetence & gerrymandering.
Meanwhile, a resentful minority, including 2 of the constituent nations of the United Kingdom, suffered the confiscation of their EU citizenship rights against their will.
