David Littleproud wants city people to understand the burden on regional people by following the current renewables policy. The livelihoods ripped up as their land is taken away. Families & communities torn apart. The Qld LNP nuclear energy plan will take away the pain.

Pt1/2 Trying to pin Angus Taylor down on subsidies for the nuclear reactor industry given the CSIRO has today reported on the high cost of building them. Trying to get out of it by throwing to Peter Dutton & Ted O'Brien.

Qld LNP's David Littleproud still wont reveal the details but he now says nuclear reactors will be built "close" to the existing coal power stations. They are targeting 6-7 sites. (The easiest ones to secure would be the Qld owned ones with David Crisafulli as premier.)

Colin Boyce is the former Qld LNP MP for the state seat of Callide & current fed MP for Flynn. He's volunteered the electorates for nuclear reactors. Under the Qld LNP, coal power would be extended while hindering the state's renewables progress. They have begun targeting power hubs at Gladstone.

On housing, Peter Dutton is attempting to divert us into a conversation about immigration so that we turn on each other. Let's not do that. What we need to do is get all the state & territory housing waiting lists down. Let's get people out of cars/tents & into a place.

The NDIS is expensive. Speaking first hand, it is working. As always, thanks to all. Important to make sure it gets to everyone that needs it. About 13-14 million workers in Australia so every dollar must be spent correctly. https://www.theguardian.com/australia-news/article/2024/may/14/australia-federal-budget-2024-ndis-cuts-disability-pension-reforms-employment-program-savings-surplus

Angus Taylor confirming nuclear energy will have to be subsidised in Australia. Even just being a distraction is bad enough. With David Crisafulli as Queensland premier they'll use him to slow down renewables while consultants are paid to conduct feasability studies at all the proposed sites.

If you haven't already, you'll start seeing the Qld LNP ads with the state director authorisation at the bottom or end as B Riley. Ben was suspended in 2013 for 6 months for taking a pair of RM Williams boots from a stand outside the LNP convention. It was dismissed as a prank & he was soon back rising through the ranks. https://www.smh.com.au/national/disgraced-young-lnp-star-comes-back-to-the-fold-20140126-31gtd.html

It's a uniquely Qld Labor strategy Premier Steven Miles has initiated. In 2017 the media was telling Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk she couldn't win again because of One Nation. So she said, if that's really what you want, I'll lead into opposition. https://youtu.be/5X_W0oO0h4E?si=oYkkF0uy5TaPju7X

Peter Dutton informed of the update from the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation on small modular nuclear reactors. In their "infancy" & "relatively untested". Predictions on build time & cost should be treated "with a high degree of uncertainty".

Peter Dutton confirms the he'll extend the lives of Australia's coal-fired power stations. In Queensland, he'll need David Crisafulli as premier to do that but what about other states? Also, corrected on his nuclear power G20 claim - Indonesia has no nuclear, Italy & Germany have phased theirs out.

Enjoy April 25 in whatever capacity, perhaps take a few moments to reflect on how better the world can resolve conflict. ♥️
