@donni exactly. The sorting, washing, and drying don’t bother me. But that’s where I draw the line.

In other news, clean laundry makes a pretty good bedspread.

    Just watched the #Barbie movie you guys. It was SO GOOD. I watched it with both eyes, not even knitting, and never got bored. The script is smart and sharp and funny and deep; amazing set design, costuming, casting, etc. Highly recommended even if, like me, you never had a Barbie!

    (But sign me up for an Ordinary Barbie, who has a flattering top and gets through the day feeling kinda good about herself, if Mattel makes one as a tie-in 😉)

    I made a Volga #German classic: Bierocks. I am not Volga German, or German/Russian at all, but I learned about them in this Max Miller video: https://youtu.be/h_xqJtGWvhg

    Anyways, this #recipe did require a lot of kneading but otherwise was simple #cooking that made several days of delicious #food.

    The Bierocks assembled and read to bake, which is just round pale dough blobs on a cookie sheet.

    We’ve all flipped to the end of a book to make sure that everything will turn out ok for a favorite character, right?

    For the first time in my life I’ve just done this with an audiobook: “The Good Sister” by #SallyHepworth. I’m using the #LibbyApp. I dropped a bookmark and then hopped to the last couple of chapters and sampled a few moments so I could be sure that Fern and Wally would be ok. Whew what a relief. Now I can continue to listen stress-free. #bookstodon

    @weirdwriter I don’t think I’ve ever had a book “spoiled” by a spoiler. I reread mysteries all the time; knowing “whodunnit” ahead of time adds a new layer to the book as I watch for clues that the author plants!
