1 - Book time at the nearest hadron collider
2 - Find one each, extreme right and left wing nutter (shouldn’t be difficult)
3 - Place item 2 in collider
4 - Voila! Politician who has public good as priority

Interesting thoughts; I suspect you do lose something by not having to work out a route in a more analogue way. Personally I find map-reading skills are still handy when using Google Maps, as it can be unreliable.
@timrichards Google Maps is great for A-B in a new area but a map and ‘bumping around’ a place does indeed build the mental map and the confidence to get around.
