@Mrfunkedude Soooo true. I'd love to try them today, but as with Apple Watch and other products I'll happily wait for the kinks to be ironed out of gen1 and gen2... those improvements should tempt more folks to buy, and in theory those increased sales should bring the cost down for the rest of us in gen3 or so.

@nixCraft I use Mac, iOS, Linux, and Windows on different machines. Each has their strengths. I enjoy open source software on all, but haven't yet tried an open source OS (to be fair, several Linux distros may have counted as open source).

@Skepticat This reminded me of airlines forcing flight attendants to hawk the airline's credit card. It always seems degrading to the flight attendants, and it feels offensive that the airlines force sales pitches on a captive audience that has spent hundreds or thousands to be there.

@Mrfunkedude Wow, that really resonates with me. My mother was an abusive alcoholic, so I grew up with a lot of the same confusion and suppressed feelings. My first relationship was also with a mentally ill woman, whose journey I associated with but that made my own worse. We split, and I'm also now in a loving and kind relationship. Such things really do exist!
