The more I learn #Emacs, the more I think I should've started way earlier.
I'm using only #OrgMode, to create and manage my digital garden, but I've already learnt a good set of useful commands, my digital garden is automagically converted from Org Mode into HTML with a nice CSS, I've even integrated Japanese furigana and PlantUML!

#askFedi on #Emacs #OrgMode: I'm generating a web page from Org Mode files and it contains some description lists divided by headers.

No luck.
I've updated Chrome from 123.0.6312.123 to very latest 124.0.6367.61 and even turned off uBlock and everything else.
Could it be a CORS issue?
I can't even use the "Support" button from Contact page.
I cannot see the drive also on a freshly downloaded LibreWolf portable browwser.

Could you please take a look?

Ciao @Codeberg . I know I'm a bit (too much) paranoic: I'm using RethinkDNS to protect my privacy from trackers and the like.
And I've turned on almost all lists, just in case.
Some privacy lists (https://raw.githubusercontent.com/cbuijs/accomplist/master/family-safe/plain.black.domain.list and https://raw.githubusercontent.com/cbuijs/accomplist/master/tlds/plain.black.domain.list) track "codeberg.page" as Adult/ParentalControl and Security/Bad Top-Level Domains, so blocking it.
Should I try open a bug to the lists or are you going to explain the URL yourself to the authors?

I have a problem with my #Emacs configuration: I need to #askFedi for some #FediHelp.
This https://marcoxbresciani.codeberg.page/emacs/emacs.html is my current Emacs config file.
The strange thing that happens is that when I yank into an Emacs buffer some text in Japanese (say, from Internet or Notepad), instead of proper characters I see lots of ??????
Font supports Japanese, I also have Japanese IME.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
I just started using Emacs so I'm basically blinding copy config pieces here and there.

Some time ago, I've bought the (earlier) version of this tablet (https://microtech.store/e-tab-pro-plus/?v=78533df0a516) to my 8yo kid.
He loves playing with @libreoffice and @GIMP and since warranty expired I think it's now time for GNU/Linux.
I'm quite sure to go with something from here https://www.gnu.org/distros/free-distros.html.en
Probably #Trisquel or #Dragora or... whatever.

In the end, I've just finally decided to climb the Colemak-DH mountain.

I've never been a touch-typer but using 3-4 fingers per hand, moving hands here and there, I was able to easily play it at around 75wpm with basically no errors.

I've bought an #ErgoDash #MechanicalKeyboard past summer: I'm still struggling with the "normal" QWERTY (see layout here https://marcoxbresciani.codeberg.page/keyboards/ergodash/current.html), not yet able to go beyond 40wpm or so, with frequent errors.

I'm sad. I would like to support al my favourite free software projects, @cryptomator (I already have the license) , @cryptpad , @cyberduck (I already have the licence), @libreoffice , @k9mail , @fosstodon , @Liberapay , @Codeberg , ... and so many others.
I would also like to subscribe to my favourite Italian online newspaper (#ilPost) and help all the things I think are nice and useful for a better humankind.
But I'm pretty struggling with money. 😭
I promise I'll help you all, sooner or later.

I've spent one day (too few, I know) playing with my #MechanicalKeyboard ErgoDash using Home Row Mods (see https://precondition.github.io/home-row-mods), with QMK online configurator defaults.
I've found out I'm pressing keys too long when typing, so half of the day spent in retyping things or escaping when pressing GUI (a.k.a. Win key) ...
I'm also not a touch-typer, so probably not worth the learning for this specific layout.
And I still have a spare key on right half, now mapped to CapsLock.

I've bought an ErgoDash #MechanicalKeyboard and I'm using it with the Italian (142) layout on my OS.
It's obviously impossible to find #keycaps with such layout (it's even difficult to find normal Italian layout...) so I'm planning to search for a custom set.
I've found https://fkcaps.com/custom/ that's quite nice but in USA, so low shipping but high custom fees and additional VAT.
Is there're something similar in Europe?

After 30 years of coding and software, I'm now officially a Scrum Master.
Boss informed the team of my choice.
I don't feel comfortable nor able to do that: even though it's 20 years I'm practicing Scrum, Kanban, Toyota Kata, read a lot of books on the topics, on Toyota, on metrics, on continuous improvement and so on, I'm sure I'm not the most fit person for the role.
I actually still don't know when, how, where and with whom I'll start, but sooner or later I'll start.
