And so, my log regarding my #MikuExpo Newark trip experience is done at ~12k words. I did not anticipate it becoming my longest piece ever by double the now second. I've been working on it a ton for the past like ~4 days so please read it shjsjkgfhjksfghkjsfghjk. I'm still gonna do a bit of editing and maybe change up the reflection section but I'm ready to have it out in the worldddd and I need a break from constantly working on it sgjkhsfjkghk #HatsuneMiku#Vocaloid#Blog
Fun fact :bun1scared: :
The final Project VOLTAGE song is coming out this Saturday, March 9th, which is known by #Vocaloid fans as Miku Day. The name of the final producer is being kept tightly under wraps until the day. For all of you out there who've been keeping up with this project, who are you hoping will be behind the next song? Some of the names we've been speculating about ourselves include:
I make at least one awesome discovery each #BandcampFriday and the first one this time is @notype's album Communication in the Presence of Noise. It's a collection of well-oiled indie-rock-meets-electro bangers with vocaloid-synthesized vocals and a fantastic theme of alt-historical what-if techno utopianism. Good tunes with an accessible, inviting sound.
There's an hour and 30 mins left of December 31st. Last #DecRecs vocaloid edition!
I just saw that Hitoshizuku x Yama△ has a new music video out for The Prayer Song for Rain. It's very pretty, and the song is nice too! Their songs tend to layer vocals really nicely. Many of their songs have English subs now, so you can follow along the story!
"The Brave" as it's translated to, is a story that transends time. It heavily relates to the anime that it's for, which is Frieren: Beyond Journey's End.
A year ago, I spent 6 days maddeningly creating a #Christmas song, inspired by a 2020 Mike Shinoda livestream. The prompt was essentially "Evanescence Christmas Song," and he threatened to put #Vocaloid vocals on it, but his chat was soured on the idea.
I wasn't.
So I wrote and recorded this song, then drew pictures and edited a video to accompany it, again, all in 6 days. And on the 7th day, I posted.
It's still Friday in the U.S. so #JMusicFriday it is (theme: #Vocaloid). These are well-known songs if you enjoy Vocaloid but if you are new to it, then I hope you like them.
The song I wish will someday be in the Joysound system. It's a really nice song! I want to sing it! Why isn't it there?!! It's based on The Little Prince.
There's a story behind why this is my fav, and that story is basically one day, I saw it topping the NicoNicoDouga charts. Checked it out, and thought it sounded pretty normal and then I paid attention to the lyrics. Amazing. (And that's how I was introduced to mothy-p)
