"UN adding Israel to ‘blacklist’ of countries harming children in conflict"
Israel "has killed more than 15,500 Palestinian children & fuelled widespread malnutrition."
A UN official said, “Ambassador Erdan’s video recording of [the UN's courtesy] phone call, & the partial release of that recording on Twitter, is shocking & unacceptable – & frankly something I’ve never seen in my 24 years serving this organisation."
What I am thinking about right now is that Israel is continuing a horrific genocide. So many civilians in Gaza have already been brutally murdered; children in particular. A human life is irreplaceable, but there is a legal value to compensation (and of course existences, buildings, land, etc.) How high would the compensation amount have to be so far, and wouldn't that effectively bankrupt Israel?

@glynmoody Is it contemplatable that Netanyahu also be put on a multilateral's sanctions list for being commander-in-chief of IDF's crimes against humanity, and also be put on Interpol's Red List for being a clear and present danger to innocent children and the public-at-large?

Eleven United Nations employees in Yemen have been detained by Houthi rebels, authorities say, and workers for other aid groups have also likely been taken. The detentions come as U.S.-led airstrikes on Houthi rebels after they started targeting shipping vessels in the Red Sea corridor in response to the war in Gaza. The Associated Press has more.
