I have been experimenting with allowing the creation of conversation groups (similar to what Gajim has) in #Moxxy. Nothing final, just trying things out 😄
Second blog post on the #moxxy UI! Unfortunately I've had a very busy month and don't have much new to report. Hopefully I'll have more time in May to work on new screens. #xmpp#penpot#ui
First blog post about the work I've done so far on the #moxxy UI! I'd like to do one every month if possible, like Thunderbird does with K-9 Mail. Please feel free to send me feedback! #xmpp
@ailyaut That looks very cool and I like the idea for the name and the logo! But yeah, actually making this is another story all together.
There are however two recent projects that have similar goals:
Moxxy https://moxxy.org/ (currently Android only, but it uses Flutter which is cross-platform), and Prose https://prose.org/ (not yet released, but should come later this year). #xmpp#jabber#moxxy#prose
@amunizp Ive been using cheogram and while its not flashy and can be weird sometimes it just works. It has gotten a bit weird lately given that it replaced its great feature (quotes) with a half-backed reply system when we couldve had both together, but its still a great client!
I would like for #moxxy to get better with time as new users might relate more with that client.
I've found this #XEP0 but it shows as experimental so I was wondering whether discussions were happening somewhere or if one can add a +1 about it somewhere.
I know it will sound stupid or just not a priority to some people but unfortunately, stickers are a requirement for many of my friends when it comes to #instantMessaging.
@silmathoron Not so well. #Moxxy ( https://moxxy.org/ ) is AFAIK the only client that has implemented XEP-0449. #Movim has their own old system that I think only #Pidgin somewhat understands otherwise, and #Cheogram recently added a sticker-picker but it just shares http_upload images. #xmpp#jabber
