Holst 'Mars Bringer of War' from 'The Planets' is Metal!
Gustav Holst knew how to make an impression. When he composed his suite about the planets of our solar system he didn't do them in order. No, he made the most metal one first. Mars will have you bang your head until it's sore!
Metal Classical Rocks recommends a piece of classical music for metal and rock fans every single week.

Mars is absolutely metal. It's the first classical piece I would take a fellow metal fan to see (followed by Shosta 11). 🤘 🎻
Lastly, here is a world Map showing the relative percentage of artists from a country that are metal. Giving a different perspective on "metalness" in the music industry of each country.
I don't often have to go back in a new song I'm just hearing for the first time to listen to a riff or sequence of riffs again, but I just had to do it on the LAST track of this new Nekrodawn record - it is ridiiiculous. Thx to @HailsandAles for having it on his Friday list of new releases, I would've missed it. 🔥

@HailsandAles yeah, I'm on the last song of Nekrodawn, but wow. It will need more listens but there's a ton of dynamics and rad riffage and such. It feels long but I never turned it off so that's big haha (it almost feels like they saved the BEST song for the last though, the title track - fuuuck haha)
