It's always a slightly disturbing when you're staring at a building and you suddenly realise it's staring right back at you!

This was the situation I found myself in with the other day with the Mannerist style Sanitary Chambers on Montrose Street in Glasgow.

The phemonenon of seeing faces on inanimate on building and other inanimate is know as pareidolia.

Looking up at the steeple of Renfield Saint Stephen's Church on Bath Street in Glasgow. It was designed by John T. Emmet in an early English Gothic style and was built around 1850.

Is it just me, or does it appear to have a face on it when viewed from this angle?
