I now have an official work S/MIME certificate for signing my email :-) (and digitally signing documents). Possibly one of only 2 or 3 people across the uni with this (I needed it to sign a letter for someone from a country where digital signatures on documents are normal). #SMIME#EmailSecurity#Certificate

The remaining problems are generally #browsers that haven't implemented #SSL/#TLS correctly, mishandling it when a visited URL includes the trailing dot. It sounds like #Safari - maybe only on #IOS? - is one of those. They report an invalid #certificate because the #URL of the page includes a trailing dot on the domain, while the CN in the cert doesn't have it (as those are always absolute).
"Die Nutzung des EU-Wallets wird auf freiwilliger Basis erfolgen." ist ja schon die erste und recht dreiste Lüge, wenn ich gezwungen werde, solchen Zertifikaten zu vertrauen.
... ist das der Punkt, an dem DNS #CAA und Transparenzlisten überflüssig werden? Ist das der Punkt, zu dem #Certificate#Pinning und #DNSSEC ihre Blütezeit bekommen?
Wird das dann der Zeitpunkt sein, zu dem offene DNS-Provider verboten werden? Das wäre ja auch bestimmt voll im Sinne der #CUII
