I took this image of the London Eye from the bank of the Thames. The wheel completely occupies one of the dimensions of the photograph. Behind, on the lower margin, appears a building of London.
The sculpture represents Silvius Brabo, a legendary character from whose gesture, it is said, the name of Antwerp etymologically derives, from the Dutch hand werpen, which means to throw your hand. In the background you can see the Antwerp town hall protected by a tarp for its rehabilitation.
