Gothic style townhouses dating from the 1870s on Westbourne Gardens in the West End of Glasgow. In the 1880s, the left hand one was home to Hugh Tennent, of the Tennent's Brewery on Duke Street who, in 1885, created Tennent's Lager, one of the first Pilsner-style lagers to be brewed in the UK.
Fern Tower on Dundonald Road in the Dowanhill area of Glasgow. This Italianate style villa was built in 1874 for the iron merchant and steamship owner John E. Swan.

I love this slightly bonkers-looking 1870s double villa on the corner of Victoria Circus and Horselethill Road in the West End of Glasgow. It seems to have been made almost entirely of towers.
Photos around a few areas close to Downtown Midland, MI: Dow East End Building, a mural underneath a bridge, right behind that mural is a view of a river that runs underneath that same bridge, a bird mural on the side of a building, flowers, and a residential building. Shot in June 2023.
The ornate gable of the former Cathcart Free Church (now Cathcart Trinity Church) on Clarkston Road in Glasgow. Designed by W.G. Rowan in a Gothic style, it was built in 1893.
The former Queen's Park Synagogue on Falloch Road on the Southside of Glasgow. Built in the 1920s, it was designed in a Romanesque style by the rather wonderfully named Ninian MacWhannel. It was converted into flats in 2008.
Townhouses on University Gardens in the West End of Glasgow. The corner building was designed by Robert Ewan in 1902, while much of the rest of the terrace was designed by J.J. Burnet in the 1880s.
