#arMay day 28: i wanted to come up with an interesting answer, but i have to be honest, any bangtan setlist is my dream setlist. they could play rock paper scissors for three hours and i'd be happy if i was there to see it.
that said, if sope do huh?! live, i will evaporate (in a good way).
i also think jungkook should be allowed to perform that that.
I love how Yoongi shows his affection to the members by cooking for them.
Jimin is always there to give confort.
Tae and Hobi make them laugh.
But I really like the special greeting ritual Jin and JK are doing every now and then.
(Sorry for the bad quality of the video, I couldn't find a better one.) https://youtu.be/LkD-Q5pKmbI?si=7KSz95nm8z9JlnW7
💜 the gorgeousness of the baritone
💜 the gorgeousness
💜 how he rocks retro
💜 "Nico Nico Nii" !
💜 skillz with glasses 🤓🙂↔️😀
💜 a little 'shy'... 😉
💜 Vibe Check King
and most of all (I agree with Everyone on this)
💜 his way of thinking is just SO free. what an amazing mind!!
i only own one piece of official merch (a mang keychain), and i want a huggable rj because the jinhit marketing strategy is very effective on me, but i listened to my heart and my heart said CHIMMY
i just love that jimin created this jolly little harmonica-playing puppy in a cheery yellow hoodie and then decided his backstory was that he'd been abandoned in a box in the winter.
okokok by popular demand, let's experience this again, sorry not sorry for clogging the #ArMay tag
this is in fact the greatest bangtan bomb of all time. it has everything: teasing, suspense (will they pull it off?), bangtan loving and supporting each other unconditionally while continuing to tease, SOPE VOCALS, yoongi giggles, hoseok leg.
idk man. there's just something about sope. i'm pretty sure it's that they love each other so so much.
I know I'm not the only person to choose this. I've also debated, & asked daughter opinion. I have no overall favourite but this one, & why.
It was early on in my 2021 BTS watching. I now realise 2019 - 21 is less time to 21 - now, making it quite recent when I actually watched and went: Horses? What is going on? What is all this?
Then went & learnt about the God Dionysus. I've learnt so much from BTS.
P.S. on concert. I get a ticket, no hassle, no online queue nonsense, I just get sent a Golden ticket in the post, I'm taken there in a limo, and I get to sit down.
#arMay My first bias was Taehyung! I was drawn by the interesting tone in his baritone voice. Who is singing that? Then his eyebrow work in Permission to Dance caught my eye.
First memory was actually related to the bird site when Army was mentioned in regards to trolling a certain American politician. I was like huh? What? Who? COOL!! The tweet something along the lines of mentioning Jungkook and "Army" will come in droves. Little did I know. So I went down that rabbit hole a wee bit but wasn't yet hooked. 😈
First bias... if you follow me you know the answer. I have no idea why Yoongi but it was immediately him. Rapper? Quiet? Shy vs Swagger? Multifaceted? Young but wise? I just don't know why but there is something about him. Don't get me wrong the others have amazing qualities and yeah I love them all, but Yoongi yeah my first bias.
and now i’m here. professing to the internet how much i love D-DAY the album and the concert and yoongi and all of BTS. i’m here, and i’m trying each day to keep working on myself & do some bits of good.
in conclusion, see picture below (i’ve never been good at conclusions)
(but for real, if you’re still here - thank you for listening. and i love you, yoongi. 💜)
I remember my kids asking what I thought about BTS, especially Rap Line (knowing how I love the genre), and honestly at the time I wasn't really sure. But the more I listened, the more deeper I fell. 💜
my first memory of bts is a conversation with someone who was describing their ptd:la experience. it sounded so special, and unlike anything else i'd ever heard about. i went home, typed "bts live performance" into youtube search, bumbled my way through dozens of fancams and dance practices, and then asked myself that fateful question: "what are their names?"
adding on to this to say, the person i was talking to told me how she met an older lady, a grandma, who'd gone alone to the concert. they stayed in touch and still texted occasionally. that particular detail really caught my attention and made me think this wasn't just any old concert or any old band.
