So I invented a pretty simple game for my current WiP #AWolfsLullaby , called Ku'rab.
It involves posts at either end of a length of space with point assigned hooks/branches.
A small Hoop made of woven vines, about the size of a hand from finger tip to wrist.
Because my brain doesn't like to half ass #WorldBuilding,
The logic went like this
1: What's a relatively low complexity rules game a rural village might play at Harvest Celebrations & such
2: How do I craft it so it's easily adapted for modern day, with the notion of making it adaptable for play by people that use #wheelchairs
In other words, if I'm going to invent a game, it needs to be playable IRL, and it should be available to as many people as I can make it.
I'll post sketches in a day or two and solict feedback then.

This took me a long moment of thinking.
Like way way more than I think others probably had to do.
First thought was a limited run of a functional replica of Pintac's arrow & sickle brooch.
But more practical and just as heavy emotional weight would be a durable bookmark with the phonetic lyrics for Bayu-Bayushki-Bayu on one side and a translation on the other.
Less practical, two mini posters, one depicting Parthia & Pintac napping in their meadow,
the other depicting the somber moment when Parthia is looking at herself in a mirror post transformation, with the William Blake poem "The Tyger" written/integrated along one side, as there is a blink-and-you-miss-it reference to Blake's poem in that scene
The downside of high bandwidth empathy, I stepped into The #Tavernn to ask someone a question, and now I need to look at pictures of cats doing goofy shit to pull me back from that mire of sadness.
Listening to the radio and a song from the playlist for The Cantata Of The Wild Soul pops on, and I started bawling because it the songs for the scene where she knows she has to leave in self exile

Naldela tries to mask her grief with anger and looks for someone to blame. If there is no one, it unfortunately always turns up against Ykril, who tries to be a punching bag for her. He can usually manage to stand it because she demonstrates her appreciation during the night.
Ykril himself becomes silent and sometimes won't say a word for days. He runs through the scenario that is responsible for the grief in his head until he has found a logical explanation.

It would be a mix of hate and love. Naldela, as well as Claudia, admire the skills that her counterpart demonstrates. While Naldela envies Claudia for her speed and agility, Claudia is jealous of Naldela's elemental magic skills, especially with lightning and the deadly precision of it.

I try my best by sharing the posts, reacting in social networks or communicating in general. Unfortunately, my mental disorders don't really make it easy for me. Especially these days, in which everyone wants to understand everything wrong, to use it as a reason to vent their frustration.
#PennedPossibilities 189 — Would the core group of your WIP turn to each other if they ever needed help? MC's, SC's, friends, etc. Are they all close?
The core group, formed by Naldela, Ykril, Sanise and Nimri, would die for each other. Especially Ykril, who would rush into a risky situation without even thinking for a second. Sanise would hesitate at first. But that's more due to fear and her young age than to her will.
Nimri would only die for Naldela and Sanise. Jealous of Ykril, he would prefer to get rid of him. But he is at odds because all he actually wants for Naldela is to be happy.

Aber ich könnte mir evtl. ein Spin-off vorstellen. Z.B. die Geschichte von Sanise, ehe sie sich selbst in die Gruppe eingeladen hatte.
Oder ein Sequel aus der Sicht von Ykril.

Oh. Naldela and Ykril love cuddling up together. Especially in winter, when it's snowing, the wind rattles the window and their tea fills the room with a berry scent. However, since Naldela and Ykril can't keep their hands off each other, it will start quite early with some light fiddling until they are totally exhausted and snuggling up naked in front of the fireplace.

I had to completely edit one of the posts where my MC Naldela was attacked by a male bandit, as many complained that I had described a rape because my MC Naldela lost the battle against him. Since then, I published more realistic fight scenes in the uncut e-book version, which I currently only send to selected subscribers by e-mail and skip them for public.
I'm tired of having pointless discussions in which the opposing side demands a Mary Sue and labels everything that doesn't comply with this, with triggers such as rape.
The characters belong to me. It's my stories. There's no need to read it if you don't agree with it. If you want a Mary Sue, then create one by yourself.

Sanise loves the Midwinter Festival, which is celebrated between Hammer 30 and Alturiak 1. Together with Nimri, she always enjoys strolling through the snow-covered markets and creating snowmen and snow lizards with him.

Ich versuche alles sehr dynamisch zu halten und meine MCs und SCs sollen sich entsprechend entwickeln. Selbst Antagonisten, die nicht so häufig vorkommen, sollten bei mir eine gewisse Entwicklung mitmachen, damit sie auch nur ansatzweise glaubwürdig erscheinen. Statische Charaktere nutze ich nur bei Charakteren, die nur einmalig vorkommen, wie Barkeeper, ...

Like her father, Naldela has a small, black book in which she writes down everything she considers "worth remembering". Every morning, she checks it after her meditation and works through it like a list. Ykril (MC) is someone who can be very forgetful. E.g. birthdays, anniversaries, ... Anything he doesn't consider particularly important, for example because he doesn't think he needs special days to show his affection for someone. Sanise (SC), on the other hand, is always forgetting something. No matter how important or unimportant it was. She is too hyper and absorbs everything around her like a sponge.
