Seitan Roast
I made this roast today and we really enjoyed it. Unfortunately I don't have any pink peppercorns so I used black tellicherry. It has an unusual soft, though not spongy or mushy texture, which we really liked.
Served with roasted halved garlic head, roasted onion quarters, some red quinoa, roasted parsnips and a pile of greens, peas and finely chopped kale.

D'habitude je suis pas fan des vidéos en mode survivaliste (c'est quand même furieusement eugéniste et validiste comme truc) mais là j'avoue que la version vegan ne manque pas d'une certaine ironie (et les images sont sympas)
Par contre le lait de coco en Grande Bretagne c'est pas hyper survivaliste, faut pas déconner 😂
Heute gibt's Tofu! Wir sind absolute Tofu-Fans und denken, dass es für jeden eine Tofu-Zubereitungsart gibt, durch die der Tofu lecker schmeckt. 😋🌿
Wenn ihr Paniertes mögt, dann sind unsere Tofu-Sticks ein Muss.
Zu den Tofu-Sticks passen Pommes oder Kartoffel-Wedges und dazu ein leckerer Salat wie Kraut-Salat. 🌱
Tempeh is an excellent source of protein and is really easy to produce in a home kitchen.
While most people think of soy tempeh, which I also make, my personal favourite is made with beluga lentils.This batch of lentils was sprouted before cooking to increase the bioavailability of the nutrients.
This tempeh has a great chewy texture and we love it air fried just as it is, no need to add any flavouring.

It's very forgiving of the growing conditions. This batch went through periods where the internal temperature varied between 5° and 38° C (it heats itslf). The very cold patch was when I was afraid it would get too hot overnight when I couldn't monitor it and I put it into a room with fridge like conditions. I just brought it out next morning and it gradually warmed up itself and kept growing.
