Publishes Its Own List
China's lack of submissions underscores separation of Chinese from global . But even China's own list does not include country's fastest computers; upper echelons of China's supercomputing remains shrouded in secrecy. 21 out of Top 50 were deployed in last 2yr, indicating China's supercomputesr continue to develop rather rapidly despite US efforts to contain the country's advances.

I've been out of the game for a while, so I'm surprised to see that the difference between #1 and #2 is large. Literally 2x the measured performance, despite similar theoretical peak FLOPs, power usage, and vendor. https://www.top500.org/lists/top500/2023/11/highs/
